Xylokastro information
Shortly before the end of the boarders of the area of Corinthia we find the seaside town of Xylokastro. It is considered to be a very cosmopolitan destination and many visitors arrive there from the Peloponnese or from Attica (Athens-Patras National Highway, Xylokastro Exit), to enjoy their holidays by the sea.
It is famous for its beach that lies next to the famous “Pefkias” pine forest. The sea has a “Blue Flag” award. It is also ideal during the winter as it can be your base for trips to nearby mountain destinations such as Ziria, Trikala and Fonissa Gorge.
