A place far away from mass tourism, a clearing surrounded by a vast pine forest facing the Corinth Gulf, where the coast discloses small bays, beaches framed by pine, olives and almond trees. A paradise on earth one hour away from Athens. Our 5 acres propriety, with fruit trees, grapes and olives trees, is a magical place to relax and to experience nature. The perfect place to rejuvenate and unplug.

The first impression hitting the arriving traveller is the unexpected and vivifying impact with the nature. The variegated green of the forest, the vivid blue of the sky and the sea, the singing of the wind and the balm crickets dominate the untamed scene.

The infrastructures of the housing complex, all whitened by limestone, have that timid appearance typical of an educated minority. The lack of traffic, and of the urban environment dresses the area with an ancient clothing in which it is easy to identify that hidden part of our self that goes back to the poetical world of infancy.

The sea is reached by a 300 metres path, crossing through the wood and suddenly opening onto a large beach of white pebbles, sand and rocks. Its turquoise waters represent a perfect spot for snorkelling and water sports. The entire coast is aligned with small bays, creeks and lonely beaches just waiting to be discovered by you.

The farm house is the right place to spend an “old fashion” holiday: days regulated by the rhythm of nature, organic vegetables and spices grown in our vegetable patch. During the summer months old friends and new guests find in this place a return to the simplest and deepest values of life.

The typical day begins in the morning with a breakfast of homemade products: homemade jam from our fruit, honey, cakes, puddings, biscuits and yogurt. There are no forced activities or plans to follow; the only rule is to forget the city life. You can decide to take a walk, relax, socialise with other guests, swim in clear waters, explore the seashore with sea kayak, or collect aromatic grasses. A basket lunch with pie/sandwiches, vegetables and fruit is prepared every morning for our guests. Dinner is taken all together around the main table, after sunset. The evening continues with bowls tournaments, isolated readings, discussions, all washed down with the white wine, “limoncello”, and other products from our own “bar”.

The house organisation enables the guests to think exclusively of their own relaxation, without the necessity of preparing meals or choosing of restaurants, and in general to the daily routines and incumbencies.

5 rooms with bathroom and shower: 2 double rooms (double bed), 2 rooms for 2-4 people (2 single beds, that can become a double bed + 1 castle bed), 1 room for 2-4 people (1 double bed + 1 castle bed).

The guest rooms are in 2 separate buildings. Each room has its own veranda, bathroom and shower. We provide sheets, towels and organic shampoo/soap.
The organic farm house kitchen is located in the main building (host propriety) as well as the breakfast/dining area.
An organised shaded area with chairs and tables, refreshments, table tennis and bowls game is available for our guests.

Our guests could access the guest rooms, the breakfast/dining room, and the organised shaded area. During the summer our guest can relax on our hammocks under the pine trees.

We are available for any help our guests might need during their stay.

Culture and history info

The first historical mention of Loutraki is in the book of Xenophon “Hellenica”, where the area was a camping site for General Agesilaus and was called “Therme”. It is also said that in Roman times the thermal waters that gushed from the springs of Gerania cured General Sillas and in the Byzantine period churches were built around these springs. During the years of the Greek Revolution the area was a strategic spot for the fighters. In the modern postwar years Loutraki was one of the most important tourist resorts and its name was for years linked with luxury, elegance and well being. In its spa guests would arrive from Greece and from abroad, to enjoy the benefits of the thermal water or to treat a medical condition. This long history continues to this day with the new super-modern thermal spa and Loutraki still remains at the top of travelers’ list.

Loutraki nowadays hosts various cultural events and festivals. Theatrical plays - at the open theater of Dexameni Park for the summer or the amphitheater of the Alexandreio Convention Center for the winter-, music concerts, contemporary or traditional dance festivals are just some of the events that you have the opportunity to watch in the area, organized every year and throughout the year. In the last years the biggest and most famous festivals, such as the "Loutraki Festival", take place in the city and offer visitors the opportunity to combine holidays with wonderful plays and concerts.
