Athens

Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece. Its trademark is the Parthenon. Many characterize it as “the city of contrasts” as it can amazingly combine ancient history with modern everyday life and seriousness with carelessness. Dozens of historical monuments, great museums, neoclassical buildings, picturesque houses with front and backyards, exclusive restaurants, cozy cafes, taverns and colorful open markets are just some of the pieces of the puzzle of the sunniest capital of Europe!
In every corner there is a historical monument, as the story of Athens begins in ancient Greece and continues to this day, great and uninterrupted. The Acropolis with its new museum, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium, the archaeological museum- where you can find exceptional treasures from every corner of Greece- and the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio are some of the most famous monuments one “must” visit.
In its modern version Athens offers countless options for art, fun, wonderful walks and special delicacies. Visitors are transported from the picturesque neighborhoods with traditional taverns and cafés to busy streets with modern buildings, luxury shops, showrooms and art events rooms and they are given the opportunity to taste the romantic / historical as well as the full of energy / modern side of the city.
