Description
The most special beach of Corinthia is this of Lake Vouliagmeni, also known as the "Blue Lake". Its photographs rule in many tourist guides and those who visited left feeling thrilled and promised to return again.
The rich pine forest is combined with a saltwater lake, which is connected to the sea through a narrow channel and refreshes its water from the Corinthian Gulf every eight hours. This graphic picture is also completed by fishing boats and small traditional taverns at the beach.
The beach bars offer water sports and sun-beds (along with drinks and snacks) but you can also find more isolated places to camp or high cliffs to dive from - for those who love adventure.
